European Judicial Systems
A report published in 2006 by the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) on the functioning of the justice systems in European states. The CEPEJ was established in September 2002 by resolution of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in order to improve the efficiency and functioning of the justice systems within the member States.
 
Questionnaire of the XIIIth Congress of the Conference of European Constitutional Courts 
Answers to a questionnaire given by Chief Justice Vincent De Gaetano dealing with the criteria of the limitation of Human Rights in the practice of Constitutional Justice, as viewed from Malta’s perspective. The answers were presented during the XIIIth Conference of European Constitutional Courts held in Nicosia, Cyprus between the 15th and 19th May 2005.
 
Speech by L. Wildhaber
Speech delivered on the 16th January 2003 at the Aula Magna of the Old University in Valletta by Luzius Wildhaber, President of the European Court of Human Rights, on the 15th anniversary of the enactment of the European Convention Act (Act XIV of 1987). The speech considers the goals of the European Convention on Human Rights with particular reference to a number of fundamental freedoms.

Questionnaire on the Right to a Fair Trial
Answers to a questionnaire given by Chief Justice Joseph Said Pullicino on the right to a Fair Trial under Maltese Law. The answers from various jurisdictions to the questionnaire were presented during a conference (Right of a Fair Trial) held between the 23rd and 25th September 1999, in Brno organised by the Venice Commission and held in co-operation with the Czech Constitutional Court.
 
XIth Congress of the Conference of European Constitutional Courts
A paper by Chief Justice Joseph Said Pullicino on the subject of Freedom of Conscience as applied under Maltese Law. The topics dealt with relate to freedom of religion and the right of non-discrimination on the ground of religion. The paper was presented during the XIth Congress of the Conference of European Constitutional Courts held in Warsaw, Poland between the 17th and 21st May 1999.
 
Affirmative Action
A paper written by Chief Justice Joseph Said Pullicino dealing with affirmative action as an attempt to remedy for discrimination. The paper was presented during the Constitutional Court Conference on Equality Jurisprudence organised by the South African Constitutional Court and the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) and held in Gordon’s Bay, South Africa between the 31st January and 1st February 1998.
