Judge passes away

The death was announced today of Judge Oliver Gulia. He was born in Żebbuġ on 5 April 1924, and during the Second World War served in the Royal Malta Artillery. He joined the Crown Advocate-General’s Office in 1966, becoming Deputy Attorney General in 1971. He was appointed to the Bench as a judge of the Superior Courts in 1974, and served for a time also on the Constitutional Court.
